Support UCT students while enjoying a stay at one of Cape Town’s most well-known hotels. We are hosting a silent auction for two two-night stays for two people each at The Vineyard Hotel, with all proceeds directed to the Unlocking Futures Bursary. This bursary helps students complete their degrees by providing financial support where it is needed most.

The auction runs from 17 December 2025 to 30 January 2026

About the prize

Escape to the southern suburbs with a stay at The Vineyard Hotel. The hotel is set on the slopes of Table Mountain and overlooks the Liesbeek River and surrounding gardens. The stay offers easy access to local restaurants, galleries and vineyards.

This accommodation has been generously donated to support UCT students. Bidding for this stay is a way to secure a visit for yourself or for family or friends travelling to Cape Town, while contributing to a student’s academic journey.

The auction will be run through a simple online form. Supporters will enter their bid and contact details, and confirm that they accept the auction rules.

•    The highest valid bids at closing will win
•    We will update the current leading bid at intervals
•    The winner will have 72 hours to complete payment by EFT or payment link
•    Once payment is confirmed, we will issue the accommodation voucher
