A proud two-time UCT alumni deeply committed to the university’s ethos, mission, and enduring legacy. Her relationship with the institution has evolved beyond graduation, most notably through her valuable contribution to UCT’s inaugural Flourishing and Well-being Conference, where she presented a paper on Inclusive Leadership and Student–Staff Partnership. This opportunity underscored the transformational power of collaborative learning environments and reaffirmed the significance of research-led engagement in higher education.    

   Over the years, her academic work has been recognised on global stages presenting academic papers at university symposiums in Canada, France, India, Brazil, Botswana, and other international platforms. She also studied at universities in Greece, Switzerland, and Botswana, gaining a broad and multicultural academic perspective. These international engagements have expanded her understanding of global higher education systems and strengthened her commitment to promoting excellence, innovation, and collaboration. 

Her work within the University of Botswana (UB) reflects her commitment to institutional transformation, having been an active contributor to UB’s transformation roadmap and its organisational restructuring project both aimed at repositioning the institution as a high-performance organisation. Through this work, she developed deep insights into governance, organisational development, and strategic change-perspectives that would add meaningful value to UCT’s convocation leadership. 

Her academic journey has also been supported by prestigious international and local awards, including being an Olympic Solidarity, Erasmus+, and UB Foundation scholars, achievements that reflect her dedication to continuous learning, excellence, and global engagement. Through the convocation executive committee, she commits to help strengthen alumni networks, promote inclusive community engagement, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the university’s impact locally and globally, and commits to serving with integrity, professionalism, and a deep sense of pride in the institution that laid her academic foundation.
