Be part of the VC’s Campus Conversation Series
UCT has initiated the VC’s Campus Conversations series, aimed at creating safe spaces in which to have difficult conversations on our campus, for staff, students, alumni, donors and friends. It aims to present a platform in which all voices are heard. The overall goal is to build unity in our community, as well as establish a new culture of respect, compassion, kindness and ubuntu. The conversations focus on multiple themes, as they emerge from staff, students, alumni and donors as custodians of this institution. These are facilitated by Professor Thandabantu Nhlapo and Ms Nomfundo Walaza – two experienced external practitioners who hold a very strong affinity to UCT and a keen interest in our success. This is available for all UCT stakeholders to engage in and is available online for those not in Cape Town. We invite you to participate in this important series. Phase one is open until the end of June 2025.
How to book your session
Session slots are still available. The facilitators would like to hear from you because your input in shaping this campus-wide series matters and is one of the important paths the VC hopes to use to address concerns and work collectively with all to co-create a more conducive environment on campus.
