UCT-trained medical doctors, Class of 2016

Decades of Doctors is a growing alumni‑led initiative celebrating the enduring contribution of UCT‑trained medical professionals and the shared values that connect graduate doctors across generations and geographies.

The initiative is driven through the UCT Australian Trust, working in close collaboration with alumni, ambassadors and volunteers who bring professional expertise and deep personal connections to UCT, helping shape its direction, identify opportunities for engagement, and build momentum within professional and alumni networks. This ambassador model allows Decades of Doctors to grow in a way that is community‑led, inclusive and aligned with UCT’s broader engagement objectives.

If you are a UCT-trained doctor living in Australia, we encourage you to get in touch with us. If you would like to see this initiative come to your region get in touch today. We are focusing on expanding participation and reach. Planning is underway for future gatherings and regional activities in Australia, with opportunities for alumni and friends to host small groups, contribute ideas, or help establish local chapters.

To learn more about Decades of Doctors, upcoming plans and how to get involved, or if you would like to host a group, contribute to the programme, or explore opportunities in your region — in Australia or overseas — we invite you to get in touch and be part of shaping what comes next.
